Personal Profile
Bringing people together for a cause is what motivates me on a daily basis. With nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit administration, I have built up the skills to affect positive change in our communities.
I have strategically applied events, fundraising, and community building to a range of nonprofits serving diverse communities. I have the technical and logistical skills to lead events and campaigns from conception to completion. I also have great interpersonal skills allowing me to interact with external and internal stakeholders of all levels. I am a team player who will roll up my sleeves and take on work needed to move the organization’s goals forward.

Development Manager, On Lok
February 2017 - Current
Lead organizational event and fundraising strategies for On Lok’s development department. Manage all aspects of event production and execution, including but not limited to, budgeting, soliciting donations, and negotiating vendor contracts. Develop fundraising campaigns to not only solicit donations but to create a community of supports who volunteer and become ambassadors for the organization.

Managed a wide range of events such as conferences, awards programs, meetings and social gatherings geared toward advancing the Council’s mission of encouraging a clearer and stronger U.S. voice on human and democratic rights concerns impacting LGBTI communities around the world.

Mission Nutrition - 30th St. Senior Center
Feeding Seniors
Developed and lead awareness and fundraising campaign for the senior community served by 30th Street Senior Center. The program provides meals and breaks social isolation in the senior community. Gay Rights are Human Rights
Global Gatherings
In partnership with U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development planned and lead a team to produce an international conference at the U.S. Department of State. The international conference brought together public and private donors, civil society activists, and the private sector resulting in 25 governments and multilateral organizations signing a joint communiqué affirming their commitment to increased cooperation, coordination, and communication to advance the human rights of and promote inclusive development for LGBTI persons around the world.
On Lok Celebrates
Building Community
Lead the develpment department in re-vamping On Lok's annual fundraiser. The event had become stale and by plugging in to the strategic plans of the organization and understanding the needs of the community created an event that has continued to grow revenues and attendence year over year resulting in increased funding for the organizations program and services as well as raising On Lok's profile in the healthcare industry.
